TROPICAL CARROT TURMERIC SMOOTHIE
An antioxidant and anti-inflammatory TROPICAL CARROT TURMERIC SMOOTHIE with melon and papaya. Creamy, smooth and delicious treat to protect your skin and improve your health
Porzioni 2 cups
- 1 large carrot about 4.5 oz
- 1/2 cup soy or coconut yogurt unsweetened or ripe banana
- 1/2 cup fresh cantaloupe melon chopped
- 1/2 cup papaya peeled and chopped (or peaches, mango, apricots)
- 1 tsp flax seed or extra virgin olive oil
- 1- inch fresh turmeric root
- 4-6 ice cubes
- juice of 1/2 lemon
Peel and chop turmeric and carrot.
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes until creamy and smooth. You may need to add more yogurt / banana or melon to get the consistency you like as fruits are never the same.
