  • 1 large carrot about 4.5 oz
  • 1/2 cup soy or coconut yogurt unsweetened or ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup fresh cantaloupe melon chopped
  • 1/2 cup papaya peeled and chopped (or peaches, mango, apricots)
  • 1 tsp flax seed or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1- inch fresh turmeric root 
  • 4-6 ice cubes
  • juice of 1/2 lemon


  • Peel and chop turmeric and carrot.
  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes until creamy and smooth. You may need to add more yogurt / banana or melon to get the consistency you like as fruits are never the same. 
  • Serve immediately.
